Anche quest’anno l’H2Openday 60&dintorni ha organizzato una visita guidata per far conoscere la storia, le tradizioni e l’architettura di Trieste. Quest’anno, grazie ai volontari di ITALIA NOSTRA abbiamo presentato le bellezze nascoste del porto: una splendida testimonianza di architettura emporiale-industriale dell’ottocento e la centrale idrodinamica che movimentava le gru del porto con una tecnologia all’avanguardia in Europa, presentata alla Esposizione di Parigi nel 1881.

La giornata si è conclusa con le “premiazioni alla partecipazione” durante una serata conviviale in riva al mare al Circolo Canottieri Saturnia per festeggiare insieme il valore del nuoto e dello sport per una Lunga Vita attiva. Tutte le squadra presenti hanno voluto partecipare anche grazie al lavoro di organizzazione delle capitane che si sono messe in gioco per organizzare e coinvolgere le proprie squadre. Grazie capitane!

Also this year H2Openday 60&abouts organized a guided tour to introduce participants to the history, traditions and architecture of Trieste. This year, thanks to the support of ITALIA NOSTRA volunteers we presented the hidden beauties of the “old harbor”: an impressive example of emporium/industrial architecture of the 19th century and its hydrodynamic plant, famous for its innovative technology which was exhibited at the Paris Exhibition in 1881.
H2Openday 60&dintorni Award Ceremony – Thank you all for the warm participation!
The event was concluded with the “participation award” during a social dinner at the Canottieri Saturnia club by the sea to celebrate together the value of sports and swimming for a Long Active Life. All teams were present also thanks to the kind efforts of the lady captains who organized and involved their teams. Thank you girls!
